Villain
Villain
By Alexandria
What does it take to make a villain
A little pain, a little loss, make sanity the cost
He’s got to be broken and a little lost
Every villain needs his scars
and his are everywhere
They live in his heart and his skin to wear
No one but me knows how much he cares
He’s delirium, danger, and your every nightmare
But he’s fragile and something to scare
I could break his heart with a whisper
I could break his bones with a kiss
I could burn his name down with just one wish
It’s this-
I like villains for their vulnerability
I like their porcelain skin, I like how they bleed and sin
But most of all, oh most of all
I like how I’m everything he needs
I am his precious pain,
His rainbow after the rain
I like how if he lost me he’d go a little insane
He’s my villain to violate
He’s mine to love and hate
Cause that line is a little thin
When he’s spent so long in my skin
I’m a breath of air and then I’m violent wind
Most of all?
With the villain I win
(I win)
He likes my intellect and my rhymes
His voice is my softest wind chime
I want us to touch and him to sing my hymns
Most importantly?
I like a villain cause he’s mine
Obsession is it’s own love language
We write our X’s and O’s in elaborate games
You’re the big bad wolf I wanna take
I’ll take your picture, I’ll take it to frame
I will put you in beautiful doubt and blame
Before you I was a victim all my life
Now I get a villain as a knife
You’ll do what I tell you; you’ll do it well
Without me everything is hell
I cried and begged for you to a wishing well
Cause guess what?
Your vulnerability I won’t ever tell
I want you soft and shaking
I want you in awful aching
I want you to shake to my words
Your heart to shatter at any time
I want you fine and frail
And most importantly?
I want you as a mine
And me as your finest wine
I like villains cause they are mine
